The firm assists clients with all aspects of the vessel sale and purchase process, including but not limited to, price negotiations, purchase agreements, bills of sale, tax implications, mortgage financing, insurance, offshore closings, vessel registration, federal and state documentation, title searches, U.S. Coast Guard and other regulatory agency requirements, and all other legal and practical concerns for completing the transaction. The firm also regularly assists foreign clients by representing their interests and bidding on vessels at judicial auctions administered by the United States Marshal Service.
